Executive Clinical Director/Chair Madame

Dr. S.H. Cruz Leon, DHSc., R-MFT is an experienced educator, facilitator, and clinical psychopathologist specializing in complex traumas emphasis on sexual traumas/disorders. She is the driving force behind Haynes Harbour, Inc. and fills the executive clinical director role. Her present focus is to disrupt the demand/supply cycle of the vulnerable populace who are trafficked, to provide adequate and prompt safe harbors for trafficked victims/survivors; to provide complex trauma focus therapy for victim/survivors, to identify and treat vicarious trauma experienced by first responders; health/mental health practitioners, and direct service providers by incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities; and to improve rapid rescues and resources for those who are trafficked. She is a Rotarian with the Hallandale-Aventura chapter where she provides education and awareness regarding human trafficking as well as engaging in local/global humanitarian services to advance goodwill and peace around the world. She is a volunteer advocate and a member of the Broward Human Trafficking Coalition/STARS sub-committee.

Certified Public Accountant

Gurleen Kaur is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (US). She has more than a decade of experience in Accounting and Assurance. She's also done Chartered Accountancy from India, where she's worked with multinationals - Deloitte and Grant Thornton in the Assurance Department. She has a keen interest in numbers and financial analysis. She's been with Haynes Harbour since 2018 helping the organization with budgeting and financial forecasting.

Tamika Ellis joins our team as our new program administrator. Tamika is a dedicated professional who has a true passion for working with our youngest learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—Tamika earned her bachelor's in education and masters in curriculum and instruction. She strives daily to be a beacon in the community she serves. She has been in education for over 16 years. Tamika will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating our organization’s programs and services.


Stanley Nazaire, Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst

Stanley Nazaire, MBA, serves as the financial analyst for our finance department. Stanley is a detail-oriented senior financial analyst with CPA credentials and hands-on experience in quantitative analysis, budgeting, accounting, and forecasting. Currently, he is the auditor for Apple Core Hotels located in New York City. He provides robust modeling and reporting to facilitate executive-level decision-making. Stanley adapts to new technologies and possesses expertise in a range of statistical software.

Starr Walden is an education consultant. Starr has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's Degree in Education specializing in curriculum development. Starr is responsible for ensuring all forms of written and online communication are intact and effective. She works behind the scene in preparing material to educate the general public about human trafficking literacy, education, advocacy/awareness, and prevention. She is proud to be a part of an organization whose effort has a strong impact on the community.

Dasiaquan “Dashi” Haynes received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN) from Florida State University in May 2000. She joined the Florida Hospital system, now Advent Health 21 years ago. Her present emphasis is on the unique population of oncology, as a nurse navigator. She has worked in a variety of avenues within the health care spectrum. This experience and training allow her to bring forth a variety of knowledge to the community.

Dashi truly has a passion for caring for others. She serves as the vice president of Haynes Harbour, Inc., which affords her the opportunity to help others reach their optimum potential. She believes that each day has a purpose and should be approached with great enthusiasm! One of her favorite quotes is: “Count your blessings and make your blessings count.”

Mrs. Kimberly “Kim” Spann, a South Florida native, became part of the Haynes Harbour Inc. family in 2019, where she serves on the finance committee. Kim obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management specializing in Human Resources. She dedicates her skills, talents, and abilities to any assigned task to aim for quality assurance. Kim supports the non-profit and looks forward to witnessing the continued blessing upon the visionary, administrative leaders, and board members.

Community Engagement Liaison

D.B.’s primary role of the Community Engagement Liaison is to implement the strategic use of communication vehicles to advance the mission of Haynes Harbour, Inc., advising the senior leaders and BOD on communication issues, serving as a liaison on community events, organizations, committees, political organizations, and facilitating proactive relationships between the broader social service community and community-based care organizations. D.B. leads with advocacy and compassion while engaging local and global communities in promoting human trafficking awareness.

Interim Secretary

T.S. Palmer, Jr., a Florida native, is an experienced professional with roots in community activism and resident leadership that has led him on a creative path working in the nonprofit sector both, serving a local and global community. T.S. Palmer, Jr. leads a dynamic team that diligently works to provide training and resources, cost savings benefits, and sound nonprofit-friendly policies and legislation on a state and federal level. He joins the Haynes Harbour, Inc. family to promote goodwill and advocacy for victims/survivors of human trafficking.
