Dr. S. Haynes-Cruz Leon, DHSc., R-MFT is an aspiring equestrian, integrative health/mental health psychopathologist, sexual health & wellness coach, entrepreneur, advocate, and confidence builder. Dr. Haynes understands how integrative holistic health, culture, community, and connectivity play a pivotal part in how we express behaviors and process emotions. She’s committed to creating a platform for conscious connectivity and conversations by exploring concepts of integrative health promotion and disease prevention through sensory application. Integrative health is the practice of healing that affirms the relationship between the person and the practitioner while focusing on the “whole person” inclusive of the mind, body, spirit, and soul. This is done by integrative use of Complementary Alternative Modalities (CAM), along with conventional treatments to promote overall wholeness and wellness.
As a practitioner, holistic wellness is the key modality in working with individuals and families who have experienced complex and vicarious trauma. Wellness and person-centeredness are both universal languages shared and celebrated culturally, both frameworks are used as CAM to convey the essence of the world around us. Hence, many people use various holistic methods as a tool to tap into their cosmic being by creating new ideas, preserving nature, and learning new social and emotional wellness strategies, which can help others HEAL. On the other hand, others use holistic methods to focus on what change looks like and how they can REset and REconnect within the world around us. Join us as we REawaken our mind, body, spirit, and soul!
Holistically Awaken,
Dr. S. Haynes-Cruz Leon, DHSc., R-MFT
